When is it time to be concerned about constipation? A lot of people don’t have an idea about whether they are constipated or not. There are many doctors that say it ok if you don’t have a bowel movement during a day, two days, or even three. Their idea is that the body knows when it’s time to have a bowel movement and that having a bowel movement in three days is normal for them.
I’m here to tell you it is not normal for people to miss having bowel movement every day. If you do not have a bowel movement every day, you have constipation, your body is not working like it should, and you need to do something about it.
There are ways to treat constipation that you should start with. Of course there are many things you can do to eliminate constipation, but here are two ways to use food to cure constipation. First you need to start eating more fruits. Here are some of the benefits of fruits.
They contain pure water
They contain a lot of fiber
They activate peristaltic action
They contain minerals that strengthen your colon
They make your body more alkaline, which helps to fight bacteria or pathogens in your colon
The time to eat fruits is in the morning and for between meal snacks. This will help you create stools that can easily pass out of your body. There is a list of fruits to help you poop that you should be eating and cherries and watermelon are two of them
The next thing you can do is to back off on eating too much meat. Meat takes a long time to pass through your colon and if you have constipation, eating too much meat will keep your constipation around. Meat has a revolving constipation problem, in that the longer the meat you eat stays in the colon, the more it feeds the bad bacteria. As the bad bacteria take hold, in your colon, the more severe your constipation becomes. Backing off meat will go a long way in helping your cure your constipation.
So, if you don’t have a bowel movement every day, don’t be fooled into thinking everything is ok. It is not. You must have a bowel movement every day and two is even better. You don’t want stools to remain in your colon for longer than one day. If stools stay longer than one day in your colon, they are making your body toxic and this leads to a variety of illnesses.
Remember, eat more fruits in the morning and for snacks and back off on eating too much meat. Also what I have not mentioned is the raw vegetable also have a lot of fiber and when you eat meat also eat raw vegetables to make you digested meat travel faster through your colon.
